CONGRATULATIONS, BARACK OBAMA!

You ran a brilliant campaign.

Perhaps the best in American history.

From foot soldiering to fundraising, you aced the Republicans at every turn.

If your presidency is half as good as your campaign was, America is in for a huge comeback. You are replacing one of the worst presidents in American history. A man who spent America's reputation as cavalierly as General Motors expends capital. A man who created a false and destructive war which has backfired to enhance the terrorism he claimed to oppose. A man who converted the power chair in the Oval Office into a cheap bleacher seat on which he can only observe, but no longer influence, the world's unfolding financial crises.

Senator Obama, you got your mandate for Change.

Change from Bushism, Cheneyism and Rovism.

Change into almost anything else would be a huge step forward.
