BILL CLINTON, BIGOT-IN-CHIEF

During the South Carolina primary, former President Bill Clinton piously remarked, "It's a shame the vote is going according to racial and gender lines."

Of course, there was a telltale smirk under all that innocent piety on Bill's face.

It was a smirk of Clinton's southern roots. Roots buried deep in rich, fertile prejudice against people of color.

For what he was doing was undermining American history's only legitimate black Presidential candidate. The only black candidate with a chance to win.

Bill was sneakily painting Barack Obama as a "black candidate."

Why was he doing this?

Obama's strong showing in predominantly white Iowa and New Hampshire has Hillary Clinton scared to death. She thought she was a shoo-in for the Democratic Party's nomination.

Then up popped Obama and usurped her "rock star" status in the Party.

Suddenly Hillary is in a tough race.

Suddenly the true characters of Hillary and Bill Clinton came bursting forth.

They had to kill off Obama's support.

How?

By appealing to white prejudice and painting him as "a black candidate."

Cynically, they hope to get white voters to shy away from someone painted "black." Cynically, the "first black President" is out in the hustings attempting to create the electoral equivalent of a black lynching.

A cynical and panicky Hillary is encouraging hitman Bill.

If the Clintons were truly sympathetic to the plight of black people, they would not be attempting to so despicably undermine Barack Obama by painting him with a black brush.

The corruption and bigotry of the Clintons becomes even more obvious when you realize that Obama is half white!

By painting him black, they are completely ignoring his white ancestry. This is a practice deeply rooted in the southern belief that a single drop of black blood completely disqualifies a person from being considered acceptable among the white race.

There is no more vicious and destructive bigotry than this.

I hope we do not fall for this latest Clinton deception.

Why not consider Obama for what he is racially? That he is, in fact, a man whose heritage is equally black and white?

Perhaps a man uniquely qualified to heal the racial rift in America.
