CAVEMAN VALUES LIVE ON

For decades, caveman behavior has been depicted by cartoons of the male clubbing a rival and dragging his woman off by the hair. Pretty much the way a male lion drives off his rival and takes over the pride.

That's the way it was millions of years ago.

But have times really changed?

According to crime statistics, women in every socio-economic group are being regularly bashed about by boyfriends and husbands. In fact, women are in greater danger from those they know than from total strangers.

Women have been hardwired by their cave mothers to think of themselves as weak and unprotected. That's why a teen girl's first crush is on the biggest and baddest guy in school. Her genes scream out for the guy who looks like he can outclub any other male. It also explains why huge, hulking football players end up with such pretty wives.

Because modern man's cave style genes program him to look at women as the weaker and more submissive sex, he deeply resents the whole idea of gender equality. That's why women get less pay for greater work in the marketplace. That's why the male tennis champion is paid more than his female counterpart, even when she's the bigger financial draw. How can the Brits pay Roger Federer more than Maria Sharapova when it's her picture that's plastered all over London come Wimbledon time?

The future for women is not any brighter, according to a recent study dealing with Harvard Business School research project.

A professor used the case study of a successful entrepreneur to determine if his class of MBA students had reached gender equality. He assigned half the class the case history as originally written. He assigned the other half of the class the identical case study, except he changed the hero's name from male to female. Other than that, the two case histories were identical.

Guess how this bright modern group responded.

Those reading the case history of a male entrepreneur professed great admiration for the hero, including his aggressive behaviors.

Those reading the same case history, but with a fictitious female entrepreneur, said they really disliked her and her aggressive behaviors.

It just goes to show that the next generation of business and political leaders will remain programmed by their cave ancestors.

Man should carry the club and woman should submit.
