Everybody seems to be chipping away at the USA's superpower status.
The Finns are ahead in cell phone technology. The Germans are better exporters. Singapore now leads in scientific innovation. The Russians have more nuclear weapons. China makes more clothing and shoes. The British are more charming. The French lead in nuclear energy. Most shocking of all? The world's highest-paid model is from Brazil!
What does this say about the USA's superpower status? We were always famed for the most beautiful and highest-paid models. Now our best model makes less than half as much as Gisele. And is there anyone in Hollywood who looks as good?

Gisele Bündchen earns about $35 million a year and has amassed a fortune of $150 million, according to Forbes Magazine.
